From Workplace Requirement to Custom Visual System
You do not need a finished specification before contacting 5trak. Start with what needs to be organised, where it will be used and any practical requirements you already know.
The custom project path
From requirement to custom visual system
The process is designed so you can start with the information you already have. Each stage is confirmed with you before the next begins.
1
Share the requirement
Useful starting information can include photographs of the work area, a tool or equipment list, dimensions, the intended location and whether the system needs to be fixed or mobile.
2
Confirm the right approach
5trak can then determine which type of visual system best fits the application and what additional information is needed before the layout is finalised.
3
Develop and agree the layout
The layout is developed around the tools, equipment and work area, including relevant positions, labels and visual cues. The proposed configuration is then reviewed before production, with the exact approval process confirmed for the project.
4
Confirm production and delivery
Once the design and specification are agreed, 5trak confirms the production, delivery and any installation arrangements that apply to the project.
Getting started
What should I send with an enquiry?
Anything you already have is a useful starting point. A finished specification is never required to begin the discussion.
| Photographs | Shows the work area and current arrangement. |
| Tool or equipment list | Identifies what needs a defined location. |
| Dimensions | Helps establish scale and available space. |
| Project location | Provides delivery and site context. |
| Application | Explains whether the need relates to production, maintenance, cleaning, 5S or another work area. |
| Fixed or mobile requirement | Helps narrow the appropriate format where already known. |
Not sure what type of board you need?
That is fine. Describe the workplace requirement rather than trying to choose a product first. The system format can be discussed from there.
